Clarion Technologies is hiring an experienced SQL Database Developer to join its specialized data engineering and backend delivery center in Pune. In this foundational data design role, you will think like an architect and execute like a system tuning specialist—taking full ownership of designing, maintaining, and refining the relational engines that drive business-critical global applications. Moving past basic querying, you will analyze long-running execution paths, eliminate transactional blockages or deadlocks, implement zero-trust database security structures to neutralize vulnerabilities like SQL Injection, and configure automated backup and recovery models to ensure continuous operational availability.

Requirements:

• 4 to 6 years of professional, hands-on software development experience focusing strictly on relational database systems, schema engineering, and live enterprise triage.
• Deep, production-tested proficiency across Microsoft SQL Server, featuring expert-level capability writing complex scripts in T-SQL or PL/SQL for dense relational layers, functions, triggers, parameterized views, and structural database packages.
• Elite understanding of advanced indexing mechanisms, structural sorting logic, and execution plan analysis to eliminate runtime bottlenecks, long-running isolation queries, and concurrency deadlocks.
• Hands-on experience supervising engine telemetry, execution profiling, and database state health using enterprise telemetry systems (such as Redgate, SQL Sentry, SQL Profiler, and SSMS).
• Solid functional grasp of core Database Administration (DBA) mechanics, covering script deployments, automated schema migration patterns, tablespace provisioning, user roles, security access grants, and robust backup/disaster recovery implementation.
• Proven capability implementing secure database programming guidelines, validating query abstractions, and actively hardening system objects against injection vulnerabilities.
• Strong soft skills to provide architectural backend guidance to cross-functional engineering squads, write standard operating documentation, and actively mentor junior developers.
• Industry-standard database certifications or hands-on exposure to pipeline orchestration tools like SSIS or alternative enterprise database engines beyond Microsoft SQL Server.
